Horniblow's Tavern shoot

*Yawn* It was a very long day today. Started out very early getting things out the door and ready for the shoot over at Horniblow's Tavern. Got there and got all set up in quite a shorta amount of time. It's always nice when you have some room to move around and areas where you can sorta stage equipment your not using at a certian time while you use other equipment. I was a little disappointed that some of the people that emailed in an interest to be an extra did not show up. It is a little disheartning to know a few people out there said they would come be an extra and them seeming bailed on it. But thats ok. The people we did have were awesome today! Yall did a great job and it was fun meeting you all and it was just a pleasure to have yall around. I hope you all enjoy the mugs and/or pint glasses we gave yall. Just a small way of thanking you for enduring all the apple juice and sweet tea. But, the bagels and other snacks were quite delish. I know we have a good amount left so I know what my breakfest is going to be for a little bit.

On to more things now. It looks like Chris and I have found a great little office area to use for various office scenes we have to shoot. The contact we have there is really nice and helpful and seems to be very excited about trying to help us in anyway he can, including trying to get with former clients about other spaces to use. The building the offices are in is a really beautiful building and I really love the archetecture of it all. My old eng/design days there. But that is looking really nicely.

Still having troubles with finding a suitable restruant that we can use. Needing an outdoor patio/deck type area to shoot in. But, we are still working hard on it and have some ideas if we can't excatly find what we need.

Welp, I think I should be wrapping this thing up. Take care of yourselves and have a good one!

PS: Mudcats lost tonight in extra innings. Great group of guys on the team, better than what their record reflects right now. Two people I wish the Marlins would get back in their organization though, Michael Tucker (INF, mainly 1st & 3rd... but a true ALL Utility player), and of course it would be great to have Dennis Anderson (catcher, now playing with the Indy league team of Sioux Falls Canaries... his batting is still up and his fielding is awesome)
